TIME IS RUNNING OUT…
To help preserve our precious environment AND work on a worthwhile community project!
The Humane Society of Fulton County is sponsoring a shoe drive, collected new and/or “gently used” shoes–for all sizes and both genders. Their goal is to collect 7,500 pair, beginning March 1 and running for 60 days. Shoes must be free from holes, must be clean, and should have only animal scuffing. Laces also must be intact.
A box has been placed at the back of the sanctuary by Mary Kara and Martha Harr for CCOB’s contribution to this worthile cause. Not only will shoes be provided for people in need, but you will be helping our local Humane Society raise funds for the care of their animals. A bonus is that you will be participating in CCOB’s quest to promote DIGNITY for both the human race…and that of the animal kingdom!
